ASHLAND CITY, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Ashland City Police Department recently intercepted a sizeable drug shipment of mushrooms, vapes and THC gummies.

Authorities said the incident began as a traffic stop for speeding, but when officers smelled the odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle, it quickly became a much larger investigation.

Bodycam video obtained by News 2 shows the moment law enforcement stopped the vehicle and the subsequent interview with the suspects.

"We are going to get you guys out one at a time, so ma'am, place your hands up on the steering wheel," an officer could be heard advising one of the occupants in the vehicle.
