Boil order lifted for portion of North 24th Street in Quincy

QUINCY (WGEM) - Jeffrey Conte, director of Public Works, announced Thursday evening the boil order for North 24th Street from Broadway Street south to Maine Street was lifted.

Conte stated that repairs are complete. The necessary steps for purification verification and flushing have also been completed.

Water samples were confirmed to be free of coliform bacteria, according to Conte.
