DUBLIN, Ga. — Dublin District Attorney Harold McLendon has assembled a team of 20 community volunteers to serve as his "eyes and ears" throughout the judicial circuit, forming a new Citizen Advocacy Committee aimed at crime prevention and community safety.

The volunteers, who officially joined the committee today, represent all four counties in the Dublin Judicial Circuit: Laurens, Johnson, Twiggs and Treutlen counties.

Among the new committee members is Dublin native Myrna White, who despite extensive travel around the world, maintains strong ties to her hometown.

"I loved growing up in Dublin. It was a wonderful foundation and although I have traveled all over the world, I'm always proud to announce that I'm from Dublin, Georgia," White said.
