The family of a man killed earlier this month in a head-on crash in Whitchurch-Stouffville says “something is fundamentally broken” that an 18-year-old driver would still be on the road so soon after he was charged with dangerous driving in another incident involving Premier Doug Ford.

Killed father of three Andrew Cristillo was the funniest guy you’d ever meet — but that laughter has been torn away, his brother Jordan told the Star.

“The system failed us,” Jordan said. “It failed to protect people, and unfortunately, my brother and his family were impacted, but that could have been anyone’s family.”
