GATLINBURG, Tenn. (WATE) — Goo Goo Cluster, a beloved Tennessee snack considered America's first combination candy bar, has opened a new store in Gatlinburg. The new location marks the company's first store outside of Middle Tennessee.

The Gatlinburg Goo Goo Chocolate Co. is now open at the Reagan Terrace Mall for visitors to get a taste of the Nashville staple that dates all the way back to 1912.

Their signature original offering is considered the first candy bar to incorporate several types of candy rather than a standard all-chocolate bar. Consisting of caramel, marshmallow nougat, roasted peanuts and chocolate, the original remains the company's most popular product.
