BREWER -- High temps around the state have Mainers doing everything they can to stay cool, but for those with outdoor jobs, the heat is not something they can escape.
"Yeah it's definitely hot, but honestly I don't mind it," said Chad Messier with the Brewer Public Works. "We get training for to watch out for heat stroke, and things like that, so we do have coolers in the truck and water, and we take a break here and there just to cool off a bit, see they're working in the shade now to keep some of the cool off them."
Kyle Santos with Santos Custom Builders says their crews are conditioned to work in these high temperatures, as they were out on a work site in Brewer on Tuesday.
