KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — Tuesday was the second day of Trinity Clark's trial in Knox County court.

Clark and Tra'Shawn Glass were accused of drag racing on the Magnolia Avenue on Jan. 17, 2023.

Knoxville Police said two Dodge Chargers were drag racing, ran a red light at the intersection of Magnolia Avenue and Milligan Street, and crashed into a Ford Explorer. The driver of the car, Michael Williams, 65, was killed, and his two grandchildren were critically injured.

One of the cars then crashed into a building further down the road. Clark is facing charges that include vehicular homicide, drag racing and aggravated assault.

The court heard from five witnesses on Tuesday. The first was Knoxville Police Officer Sam Young. He served as the crash investigator. He was asked by the defense
