ALCOA, Tenn. (WATE) — McGhee Tyson Airport plans to add five daily round-trip flights beginning March 5, 2026, according to Southwest Airlines. The move comes as the airport continues its expansion as East Tennessee's population grows.

This includes twice-daily flights between Knoxville and Nashville as well as daily flights between Knoxville and Baltimore, Dallas and Orlando. The flights are with Southwest Airlines.
