FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - The Allen County Public Library is pushing back its launch of a gateless parking system at the Main Library in downtown Fort Wayne.

It was initially planned to start on Monday, but the new anticipated launch date is Sept. 8.

The system will be implemented at the library’s parking garage and nearby surface lots on Webster, Harrison, and Wayne Streets. Library visitors will receive the first three hours of parking for free.

Parking at other ACPL locations will not be impacted.
