When it comes to money, there are two dreaded words "tax increase."
And now that's what folks in Seminole County are facing when they go to the gas pump.
Seminole County commissioners voted to add an extra five-cent gas tax on every gallon sold in the county, with the goal to raise funds for infrastructure projects.
Many residents expressed their dissatisfaction with the decision, saying paying more for gas is the last thing they need.
John Moriarty, who opposed the gas tax, said, "People are struggling to make ends meet so I don't it's suitable to go up another five cents."
