MEDINA, N.D. — The Stutsman County Dive Rescue Team responded to a report of a missing juvenile who was later found safe Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 12, near Medina, according to Stutsman County Sheriff Chad Kaiser.

Kaiser said a juvenile, approximately 14 years old, was reported missing at about 3:20 p.m. Tuesday. He said the juvenile was riding a Jet Ski on Reule Lake east of Medina and didn't return.

"They couldn't find him," Kaiser said. "They didn't know if he had an accident."

Kaiser said the Jet Ski broke down in the northwest part of Lake Reule and the juvenile got to shore and walked about a mile to 1 1/2 miles to a house.

"Then they called 911 and he was found," Kaiser said.

The Stutsman County Sheriff's Office, Medina Ambulance and Medina Rescue also responded to the scene.
