During a visit to Cincinnati State Technical and Community College, Husted discussed a new kind of Pell Grant that can help people struggling to make ends meet gain workforce credentials.

"What we did in the Big Beautiful Bill is to allow for Pell Grants now to be used for workforce credentials. So, instead of having to go spend two or four years at college, you can take eight weeks, six months — earn short term credentials using Pell funding. And go right into the jobs that many people, many employers in Cincinnati need to fill," Husted sa
