It becomes almost an exercise beyond imagination to conjure up a situation where, on a sunny Thursday morning in a beautiful neighboring county, tragedy strikes at the hands of a demon, seemingly out of grievance and hatred. Even worse, the acts of murder and mayhem appear motivated at least in-part by the brewing cauldron of society’s hate directed toward our public servants, both in law enforcement and EMS, as demonstrated by ambush. The worst result was that this carnage also included the death of an innocent neighbor.
