CAMERON, NY (WENY) -- The New York State Attorney General's Office has released a report completed by its Office of Special Investigation (OSI) into the death of a Steuben County man after an hours-long armed standoff with law enforcement in October of 2024.

Fifty-year-old Allan Hoad was shot and killed by SWAT officers after a 12-hour armed standoff in the town of Cameron on October 21, 2024. In a 15 page report released by the AG's office, their investigation concluded that the officers' actions were justified.
