HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Honolulu Police Department is searching for a man who groped a woman near the lower campus of the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

The UH Manoa Department of Public Safety sent an alert Tuesday, and said the woman, an alum, noticed a man following her as she walked down Waialae Avenue at around 1:30 p.m. Monday afternoon.

When she approached the campus entrance on Kalele Road, he allegedly sped up, grabbed her buttocks, then walked away.

On Wednesday, police released a sketch and updated description of the suspect.

HPD described the suspect as about 30 years old, 5 feet 6 inches, 180 pounds, with dark brown hair and brown eyes.

He was reported to have been wearing a sleeveless gray shirt and basketball shoes without laces.
