Los Angeles police officers are chasing a suspect driving at high speeds in a stolen SUV Tuesday night.

The chase began in the San Fernando Valley before the suspect exited in the Hollywood Hills area and sped through surface streets, at times driving on the wrong side of the road.

The suspect entered the 101 Freeway near Universal Studios and later transitioned onto the 170 Freeway.

Police units are following closely behind as the speeding suspect was seen narrowly missing other vehicles on the road.
