Mike Felger, of 98.5’s Felger and Mazz show, received backlash from listeners for missing Monday’s broadcast. But, he revealed his unexpected whereabouts during Tuesday’s edition.

“I was in the hospital yesterday after getting airlifted off Nantucket,” Felger said at the end of Tuesday’s show , shocking his co-hosts. “It’s more dramatic than it is, thank God, but for about 12 to 18 hours, it was a little dramatic.”

“What?” Guest co-host Jim Murray responded.

The radio host said he was riding his bike on Nantucket Saturday night and fell off the bike.

“It happened in a blur,” he said. “I cracked my neck on, I believe, the handlebars. I just sort of buckled and fell into the handlebars, and bam!”
