New disturbance forms in the western Caribbean:

HOUSTON – A tropical disturbance has formed in the Caribbean and is now heading toward the Yucatan Peninsula. As of Tuesday night, it’s mainly producing tropical rain as it moves northwest.

The disturbance is set to cross the Yucatan before pushing into the Bay of Campeche. At this point, the odds of this system turning into a tropical depression or tropical storm are 20%. Click below to see what the futurecast looks like.
