Wednesday looks to be when we start to see the smoke fully move out of the region, with plenty of sun shining through with temperatures topping out in the mid-70s for the afternoon. As we head to the end of the week, however, we are going to keep an eye on a couple chances of thunderstorms going into the weekend.

Thursday looks to have the highest chance for storms to become severe, with highs in the 70s for the afternoon, as well as higher humidity. Then, as we head to the weekend, Friday night may bring another chance for pop-up thundershowers.

As we head to the weekend, the temperatures will slide back down toward 70 degrees, with spotty showers possible, but the chance for thunder decreasing.
