One dead, two wounded in 7th Ward shooting, New Orleans police say

One person was killed and two others were wounded in a 7th Ward shooting late Tuesday night, according to the New Orleans Police Department.

Police were called at 9:20 p.m. to the intersection of Allen Street and North Dorgenois Street, where they found two victims. Paramedics transported them to a hospital.

A third victim also made it to a hospital, but died there later.

Police did not immediately release more information.
