Cobblestone Farms woman attacked man in car after night out: cops

Police arrested a 42-year-old woman after a man accused her of assaulting him as they drove home from a restaurant Saturday night.

Maricopa Police Department responded to a home in Cobblestone Farms on a report of a domestic violence incident just after 9:30 p.m., according to a probable cause statement obtained by InMaricopa .

Officers arrived and contacted Loretta Garcia, who they noted appear “hysterical and highly intoxicated” outside. When they knocked on the door, they spoke with the alleged victim who said they had gone to a restaurant in Tempe earlier that night, where Garcia drank four or five mixed drinks.
