A convicted sex offender seems to have fled his home after it was targeted by graffiti identifying him.
Craig Meehan, 39, was convicted in 2008 of possessing 49 indecent images of children and sent to prison for 20 weeks.
Meehan had been living in a semi-detached council-owned bungalow in Paddock, Huddersfield, for two years, with neighbours claiming the house was located just 25 yards away from a nursery which was built after he moved there.
Now, neighbours have claimed that Meehan left the house, where he lived with his partner, around three weeks ago and just a few days after it was targeted by graffiti on July 14.
