Southwest Airlines has come under fire from an American rock and roll musician after one of her guitars was severely damaged while in transit with the blue-clad low-cost carrier. Emily Wolfe, who recently flew with the budget airline to Las Vegas , took to social media to explain the story and express her frustration.
Given the fragile and valuable nature of many instruments, carriers like Southwest have thorough luggage policies in place to ensure that things like guitars are transported safely and securely when being moved by air. Despite following these, Wolfe was found that her guitar did not survive the trip in one piece, and has called upon the carrier to set a better example when transporting instruments.
