LIMESTONE COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) — The Limestone County Sheriff's Office is offering a chance for civilians to be apart of a firearm training course in September.

The classroom session will take place on Thursday, September 11 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Individuals will be able to learn basic information about firearms, firearm safety and laws surrounding firearms.

Additionally, the range session is scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 13 at 9 a.m.

This will be an opportunity for hands-on training at the range. This opportunity is only available for those who attend the prior classroom session on September 11.

The class is only available for individuals who are 18 or older.
