LR woman arrested in gun, assault case

Little Rock police on Monday night arrested a woman who they say pointed a firearm at a person her kids were attacking, according to an arrest report.

Officers arrested Tamel Hall, 45, of Little Rock, around 9:45 p.m. near 11221 Mara Lynn Road after viewing a video of her pointing a gun at the victim while Hall's children were beating the victim, the report states.

An employee at the Pulaski County jail redacted the victim's identity from the report, and it did not say whether Hall's children were charged.

Hall is a convicted felon and cannot legally own a gun, the report states. She faces felony charges of aggravated assault and possession of a firearm by certain persons. She was being held in the Pulaski County jail Tuesday night in lieu of a $1
