COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - Two people are recovering after a four-vehicle traffic crash in Southern Colorado.

According to the Colorado State Patrol (CSP), the crash occurred at 5:53 a.m. on Wednesday. Two people were taken to the hospital with non-serious injuries, but the extent of their condition is unknown.

According to the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), southbound I-25 was closed between Exit 135, South Academy Boulevard and Mesa Ridge Parkway.

As of 7:18 a.m., one southbound lane has been reopened, as well as both northbound lanes.

CSP has not yet confirmed the cause of the crash.
