MOOSIC, Pa. (KTRE) - Former Central Heights Blue Devil Duke Ellis had two hits, including a home run, in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre’s 6-5 loss to Indianapolis on Tuesday.

The 27-year old got the start in left field and batted ninth.

Ellis went 2-for-3 with two RBI and a run scored. In the second inning, Ellis hit a double into right field, but was stranded at second base to end the inning. In the fourth, Ellis hit a 2-run home run over the center field wall to tie the game at 4. It was the fourth home run of the season for Ellis.

The RailRiders are 67-45 and will continue their series against the Indians on Wednesday.
