Only one of the 68 Power 4 conference college football teams will rely on a starting quarterback from Alabama this season. James Clemens graduate Gio Lopez transferred from South Alabama and will be the first quarterback for Bill Belichick at North Carolina.

Neither Alabama nor Auburn have a scholarship quarterback from the state.
