Eight men are behind bars after a violent fight broke out on Lake Winterset, according to reports from WFLA.

Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd announced the arrests during a news conference after days of investigation.

Judd said they received reports of a fight that broke out on Aug. 2 on the shoreline of the lake. However, upon arriving, the individuals involved were already gone.

Deputies were able to continue their investigation after a cell phone video of the fight surfaced online.

In the video, deputies said two people appear to be knocked unconscious.

According to reports from WFLA, the men charged were identified as:

Mason Land, 23: Felony rioting, affray, trespassing, disorderly conduct

Payton Ely, 19: Felony riot
