WASHINGTON — Dollar General is recalling three lots of its 8-ounce Clover Valley Instant Coffee after reports of possible glass contamination, according to the Food and Drug Administration.
The coffee was sold in 47 states and Puerto Rico between July 9 and July 21. Dollar General didn't say how many containers were included in the three lots of coffee that were distributed, or how many were sold before the recall went out.
The recall covers products with UPC 876941004069 and the following lot numbers and best-by dates, printed around the neck of the jar:
• L-5163 — Best by 12/13/2026
• L-5164 — Best by 12/13/2026
• L-5165 — Best by 12/14/2026
