High school football teams will open fall practices in a week. The opening weekend of the season is a little over three weeks away.

It’s time to start looking ahead to the 2025 high school football season.

And let’s take a look at some of the top non-league matchups coming up in Southwest Washington.

Teams in the 2A Greater St. Helens League and 1A Trico League play non-league games in the first two weeks of the season. The 3A GSHL play non-league games in the first four weeks, and the non-league season for 4A GSHL extends into the first six weeks.
