The Mets are set to add one of the game's top prospects to their rotation.

New York will call up right-hander Nolan McLean for Saturday's start against the surging Mariners at Citi Field, a source told MLB.com's Anthony DiComo on Wednesday morning. The club has not confirmed the news.

McLean ranks as the No. 37 prospect in the game , according to MLB Pipeline, which published a refreshed Top 100 list earlier this week. The 24-year-old right-hander, a third-round pick in the 2023 Draft, is the third-ranked Mets prospect .

McLean has made 21 appearances (18 starts) at two levels this year, posting a 2.78 ERA in 16 games (13 starts) at Triple-A Syracuse after dominating Double-A with a 1.37 ERA. He has struck out 97 batters in 87 1/3 innings with the Syracuse Mets.
