ALLEN PARK, Michigan — The Miami Dolphins got started on Wednesday with the first of two joint practices against the Detroit Lions from Meijer Performance Center.
Observations from the joint practice session:
—Edge rusher Chop Robinson left practice on a cart after going down at the end of a play during an 11 on 11 period. It’s unclear what was ailing Robinson, last year’s first-round pick who posted 6.0 sacks as a rookie.
—Dolphins not seen participating in practice: edge rusher Jaelan Phillips (lower left leg), RT Austin Jackson (lower extremity), FB Alec Ingold (concussion protocol), S Ashtyn Davis (lower left leg), edge rusher Mohamed Kamara (unknown), G-T Kion Smith (unknown), C Andrew Meyer (unknown), OT Bayron Matos (upper body).
