Keep the rain gear at hand as you head out in the afternoon and evening, with a few heavy downpours possible. While we are not expecting area-wide showers and storms, they will be more scattered and isolated. More of the same is forecasted for both Thursday and Friday, with highs in the upper 80s and low 90s and lows near 70°F. Heat and humidity will make the air temperatures feel closer to the mid-to-upper 90s. If we see more clouds than sunshine, that will keep the feels-like temperatures in the lower 90s.

Heading into the weekend, we have a drop in rain chances for most, but an isolated storm in the afternoon cannot be ruled out. Air temperatures will be at near or a few degrees above 90°F.
