SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – The jury for the Justin Rackley triple murder case has reached a verdict early Tuesday afternoon.

Attorneys on both sides of the case gave their closing arguments on Tuesday morning.

Jurors decided whether Rackley is guilty of three counts of first-degree murder for the deaths of Daniel Kemnitz, Kellie Reaves, and Michael Thompson. They were shot and killed at a get-together last summer at a home on the south side of Sioux Falls.

Jurors also decided whether Rackley is guilty of two counts of aggravated assault for the man and the woman who survived.

The prosecution called multiple witnesses and shared evidence over four days to try to convince the jury that there was some sort of premeditation or specific intent to find Rackley guilty of first-degree murder.
