DES MOINES, Iowa (KCAU) — The 43rd Annual Iowa Governor's Charity Steer Show at the State Fair on Saturday had multiple winners from northwest Iowa.

The Grand Champion Showman Award went to Matt Elbert from Rock Rapids and his steer, Trice.

The People's Choice Award went to Tucker Frei-Muth from Lytton and his steer, Burt Reynolds.

Steer show officials say $569,000 was raised from the event for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Iowa.

The funds will go to the non-profit's three houses, including one here in Siou
