Hickory police found almost a dozen bullet shell casings from a shooting that left multiple cars damaged at the Silver Springs Terrace apartment complex on Saturday.
No arrests have been made in the case as of Wednesday. The incident report from the Hickory Police Department lists the crime as attempted first-degree murder, damage to property and discharging a firearm in the city limits.
The shooting happened shortly before 4:30 a.m. on Saturday. No injuries were reported. Three vehicles were listed as damaged in the incident report.
Hickory police officers found 11 9mm shell casings and two pieces of 9mm bullets. According to the incident report, a handgun was used.
