FORT VALLEY, Ga. — An apartment fire near Fort Valley State University left over a dozen people displaced early Wednesday morning, according to the American Red Cross.
According to the Red Cross, a fire at the College Square Apartments on Edwards Street in Fort Valley broke out early Wednesday morning. According to a reporter at the scene, many apartments were affected, and the Red Cross says 19 people were displaced as a result.
The Red Cross said volunteers were joined by the Disaster Action Team to help those displaced by the fire.
