Mission RCMP are appealing to the public for help in finding a woman recently convicted of robbery and other charges.
A warrant has been issued for Julie Matthew, 47, after she skipped out on her sentencing hearing.
Matthew was recently convicted in B.C. Supreme Court of robbery, assault with a weapon, assault causing bodily harm, and possession of stolen property stemming from an incident in Deroche, east of Mission, in 2022.
She is known to have ties to communities in Hope, Langley and Surrey, said police, although she may also have gone elsewhere.
Anyone with information that could help find Matthew is asked to contact Mission RCMP at 604-826-7161. If anyone spots Matthew, they should call their local police.
