RCMP police dog Thor helped officers track down two suspects following a break-in at a home in Deer Lake on Sunday.

RCMP were called around 2:15 in the morning indicating that two masked men, armed with knives, had forced their way into an apartment in Deer Lake and attempted to steal from the occupant who was at home at the time.

One of the suspects suffered serious injuries and the two men fled the scene on foot.

Thor tracked the suspects down to a nearby home and the injured man was arrested without incident. The second man tried to run, but was also arrested.
