Roger D. Olsen, 84, of rural Thompson died Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at St. Mary’s Hospital-Methodist Campus in Rochester, Minnesota.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, August 18, 2025 at First Baptist Church in Forest City with Pastor Eric Weaver officiating.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Sunday, August 17, 2025 at Schott Funeral Homes, 505 N. Clark St., Forest City, Iowa.

Burial will be held in Rose Hill Cemetery in Thompson, Iowa with military honors.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Roger D. Olsen memorial fund in care of the family.
