CLINTON, Mo. — The Clinton Missouri Police Department (CMPD) is investigating a homicide that occurred in the morning of Aug. 13 at 404 South Main Street in Clinton.

CMPD says a male victim has been identified and a suspect has been taken into custody.

Police say they do not believe there is a danger to the public.
