CLINTON, Mo. (KCTV) - The Clinton Police Department has promised more updates on a homicide that took place early Wednesday.

According to a Facebook post, one person was killed on August 13 near 404 S Main Street. The victim’s identity was not released, but investigators confirmed he was a man.

A suspect was taken into custody and police stated that there is no further threat to the public.
