DOUGLASVILLE, Ga. — Authorities in Douglas County are investigating whether a man accused of raping three women over a span of more than a decade could be a serial rapist.

Bobby Lee Hart Jr., 52, was arrested Saturday, Aug. 9, and charged with three counts of rape.

Court records show the assaults date from 2012 to 2024. All three alleged assaults happened in Douglasville within just miles of one another.

According to arrest warrants obtained by 11Alive, the most recent case was in November 2024 in the parking lot of a park and ride on Douglas Boulevard. Investigators alleged Hart raped a woman in the back of his semi-truck. Credit: WXIA
