DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A man and woman were arrested in connection with two separate deadly shootings in DeKalb County.

The DeKalb County Sheriff's Office said 35-year-old Keenan Maxwell Williams was arrested on Tuesday, Aug. 5 on a felony murder charge. Williams is accused of shooting 36-year-old Cole Pitter of Marietta on July 6 in Lithonia.

Another suspect, 23-year-old Emdria Swinton, was arrested Aug. 6 for a separate shooting. According to the sheriff's office, Swinton is accused of shooting 40-year-old Elmar Lawrence of Jackson, Georgia, on March 12 in Decatur.

Swinton was taken into custody without incident.

Both are being held at the DeKalb County Jail without bond.
