OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEVV) — A pet adoption event is happening in Owensboro this weekend.

Friends of Daviess County KY Animals is hosting the event on Saturday, Aug. 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The event is happening at the PetSmart located at 5241 Frederica St.

Both dogs and cats will be available for adoption at the event.
