Authorities have recovered $30,000 worth of Labubu dolls that were stolen from a warehouse in southern California, according to a press release from local law enforcement.

The viral plushies — popular for their snarling smile, evil eyes but otherwise cute exterior — were taken during a series of trips made over the course of several days, said the Chino Police Department, though it not specify when exactly the heists occurred.

An investigation into the matter brought detectives to a residence in Upland, where they “recovered fourteen boxes of stolen merchandise , along with evidence indicating the items were being prepared for resale and shipment across the country.”

The stuffed toys have since been returned to their rightful owners, the press release noted.
