MADISON, Wis. -- A woman accused of attacking a Madison Metro bus driver in February, causing the bus to crash into the Asian House restaurant, pleaded guilty Wednesday afternoon.
Raeven Johnson, 26, pleaded guilty to second-degree recklessly endangering safety (repeater), a felony, and attempted battery to a public transit operator, a misdemeanor.
Charges of resisting or obstructing an officer (repeater) and three counts of felony bail jumping charges were dismissed during Wednesday's plea hearing.
Prosecutors say Johnson attacked the bus driver on Feb. 25 after the bus driver said the route was not going to Johnson's desired destination. Because of the attack, the driver lost control, causing the bus to crash into the restaurant on Dempsey Road. Two people, including the driver, susta
