MUSCODA, Wis. (WKOW) – A Muscoda man fears for his life after his shed went up in flames, nearly taking his home with it.

He is choosing to only be identified as Adam and declined an on-camera interview for safety reasons.

“I wake up and there's flames shooting up my window, right where I lay my head and I'm freaking out,” Adam said, describing the night of the fire.

Grant County officials said there are ‘suspicious circumstances’ around the fire that left Adam’s shed as a total loss.

Adams feels it was intentional.

“Without a doubt,” said Adam. He went on to say that the man he feels is responsible for the fire is going to “finish the job.” When asked to clarify what he meant by that, Adam replied “by taking my life.”
