MADISON (WKOW) -- Music Theatre of Madison is putting the finishing touches on its production of The Bridges of Madison County.

The musical tells the story of an Italian woman in Iowa, circa 1964. She falls for a National Geographic photographer, and both romance and drama ensue.

Actors said they are excited to bring the show to life.

It opens Friday at the Memorial Union Play Circle and runs through Aug. 23. You can find tickets by clicking here and students get special pricing.
